Hello community,

I was trying to see the contents of thse KM articles, but I was not able to due to access/permission. Can someone share the contents for these articles?

I made KM00344928 visible to entitled customers,
KM02737924 already is customer visible (no idea why you cannot access it)
here is the main part of the document
..
To re-initialize / re-install HornetQ (applies to BSM starting with 9.26)

- stop HornetQ via NannyManager JMX (or stop BSM)
- remove the HornetQ data folder <HPBSM>/HornetQ/data
- start HornetQ via NannyManager JMX (or start BSM)
- the data folder will be re-created automatically during HornetQ's startup
..

Interestingly, it shows I have no permission either. Strange. But this is what I saw from a forum.  From Sigi. So this much be accurate.

 

Re: BSM 9,24 - Sonic Management Console Re-Install Procedure

Hi Sreek3502,

as far as I know you cannot re-install the Sonic Management Console alone,
but you can re-install the complete Sonic product,
although we usually do this only if there is a real issue with Sonic.

steps for BSM 9.20 - BSM 9.25 (Sonic MQ 8.51 - 8.6)

 - stop BSM (GW first, then on the DPS)

 - go to <BSM_install_dir>\Sonic\bin and run unistall.bat
  - make sure all folders under <BSM_install_dir>\Sonic\ are deleted except of
     + bin
     + Installation
     + input
  - if Launcher is still there, delete it manually

  - install Sonic:    <BSM_install_dir>\Sonic\bin\install.bat

  - modify the file <BSM_install_dir>\conf\bus\jms.configuration.status.properties
   + remove the lines:
      dm.mgmt.url=tcp\://<GWServerName>\:2506
      msg.broker.mgmt.url=tcp\://<GWServerName>\:2506

   + change
      domain.manager.status=nonconfigured
      message.broker.status=nonconfigured
     these two entries will tell Sonic to perform a reconfiguration

  - in case this is the Domain Manager server (DPS or Typical)
     run  <BSM_install_dir>\Sonic\bin\jmsProviderConfig.bat install.domain

  - on the DPS make sure the file  <BSM_install_dir>\conf\bus\jms.configuration.status.properties now shows
      domain.manager.status=configured
 
 - next run the Configuration Wizard (DPS first, then GW)

  - start BSM (DPS first, then GW)
    or
    + on DPS or Typical : start MessageBroker and DomainManager via Nanny JMX
    + on GW : start MessageBroker via Nanny JMX

Note:
The steps are similar on Windows and on Linux.
On Linux of course the commands are .sh instead of .bat

GW - Gateway Server
DPS - Data Processing Server
Typical - GW and DPS on the same server
