Throwing error- Failed to Execute while saving database structure wizard in application designer

Jump to solution

Hello guys,

I am beginner in Asset manager. Please help me to resolve the error.

Database structure is failing to execute. It is also throwing below error-

Anonymous LDAP authorization is not authorized (The field 'LdapDN', which stores the login is empty, or the password is empty). ('Line 1 of script 'FINISH.Do, line 74'').

Thanks in advance,

If you captured a log while saving the database, then review for more messages.  Also, depending on what you were trying to accomplish (screenshot looks like database creation) you may need to use oob Admin instead of another user with admin rights.  Also, as the error messages relate with LDAP, you may want to ensure used user has related objects populated correctly.

Hi,

Yes, double check the field LdapDN and the password are NOT empty.

If they are supposed to be empty, for some reason, then

Maybe you can try:

1. Login to WIndows Client with Admin user.

2. Go to Administration -> Database options

3. Set "Authorize Anonymous LDAP connections" to YES.

4. Get back to App designer and try again what you were doing before.

Check the details for all the LDAP DB Options here:
