Can CO read metrics from the OA 12.05 or I need to install the HP Sensor?

Hello,

I have 2500 server with OA working. I'm testing CO.

Is possible to use the OA to feed CO or I must install the HP Sensor agent in every server?

Best Regards

Hello Ale78217,

Your thoughts about HP Sensor and OA are correct in that they are similar.  However, unfortunately, we cannot pull information from OA.

Basically, OA and HP Sensor are incompatible and you cannot have both on the same system and it work with CO.  The only exception is the CO server itself.

I know that they have been investigating the possibility of having it work, but it is not there.

If the system is a VM within VMware or Hyper-V, then we can pull the information from VMware or Hyper-V.

I hope that this is helpful.

Regards,

Mark
