Actions in CM9.3 patch 1 - sending 2 links ... to a document and an action

Hi,

we are in the final stage of the testing of CM9.3.patch 1, SQL 2016, WIn10 latest, MS Office 2016 ...

Just recently, not sure why, in COntent Manager 9.3.1.300 when we setup the email action on a document, for a user to complete it, the user gets 1 notification email but with 2 links; one link is towards the actual document and the other link is towards the action, so user just need to click OK and action is completed...

Not sure if we see this before...is there a setting that can control this, I mean what should be sent? e.g. maybe just the link towards the document, not to actual action... When did this behavour changed?

Thanks

Re: Actions in CM9.3 patch 1 - sending 2 links ... to a document and an action

This happens for us in CM 9.2 as well - a link to the document and a link to the action in the one email.  I don't think there's a setting to prevent this happening.

Our users quite like it.  They can view the document they're supposed to be actioning, and then complete the action from the email, without too much interaction with CM.

On the other hand, I notice that it still doesn't attach any links if the Responsible Location is a Position or Group.

Re: Actions in CM9.3 patch 1 - sending 2 links ... to a document and an action

Hi, and thanks HeatherM1

Well, we do not use the Position location type....(We like to match up the exact user  / person  / human, Legally obliged)  for the actual dealing with the actions....

Also, the TRIM opens up in any case, if we click on any of these 2 links.....

So, there is no option for the electronic document to be attached here..as user must open TRIM once they click on this link tr5 ...

Regards.
