(DP) Support Tip: Scheduled backups do not start, or dashboard returns "“internal server error”.

This can effect all supported Data Protector Cell Manager platforms running Data Protector 10.00 on.

Resolution:

Check that hpdp (user being used for appserver service/daemon startup) user is present in the userlist.

Check “protection” setting (number of days/weeks/months can be missing) in the backup specification using advance scheduler and set it correctly.

In case of “internal server error” install DP 10.02 or request Hot Fix “DP1001_B307_QCCR2A76452_HF1”.
