The operation system where we're trying to take an image is Win Server 2016,  Windows ADK was downloaded from Microsoft website: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/get-started/adk-install

What seems to be the problem?  Thank you.

Re: Create Disaster Recovery OS image

Hi

According online help you need specific WAIk version

Choose a media creation host which has the correct WAIK/ADK version installed or
install following WAIK/ADK version for the selected recovery host OS type:
* Windows Vista & Windows Server 2008: WAIK 1.1
* Windows 7 & Windows Server 2008R2: WAIK 3.1
* Windows 8 & Windows Server 2012: ADK 1.0
* Windows 8.1 & Windows Server 2012R2: ADK 1.1
* Windows 10 & Windows Server 2016: ADK for Windows 10, version 1703

If you downloaded last version this is 1709 or 1803 and we need 1703

Re: Create Disaster Recovery OS image

Hi,

the server for which you are creating the iso image you said is windows 2016.

Which OS has the server where you are creating the ISO image ?

You should select a server with windows 2016 as well and the you have to install “Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK)” for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

Is this the case?

Kind regards

Dionisio

Re: Create Disaster Recovery OS image

Hi Dionisio_S ,

The server where you are creating the ISO image also has  windows server 2016. I download and install latest version “Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK)” for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

Best regards,

Danil

Re: Create Disaster Recovery OS image

Hi @Danil1,

Since you're trying something that is supported I would focus on the error and try a different ADK. You can only have one version of WAIK/ADK at a time.
