(DP) Support Tip: Only English language is supported with Windows2016

Topic

In Platforms & Integrations Support Matrix , "Only English language is supported" is described in "Graphical User Interface Support" section .
What does exactly mean ?
It's confusing because Windows2012 is supported with other languages
although same localized modules will be used for both OS environments .

Response

Currently in Windows 2016 other languages are not supported for GUI
because Windows 2016 DP GUI is not certified other than English .

Re: (DP) Support Tip: Only English language is supported with Windows2016

Hi @Tadashi,

You should make clear that this refers to full localization (Japanese, Chinese, French) not internationalization. The GUI will work well on a German-localized Windows 2016 server for example.

Re: (DP) Support Tip: Only English language is supported with Windows2016

Hi Sebastian ,

This topic is for "Localization" .
It is intended to share the meaning about the limitation of Windows2016 .

Actually DP GUI will work on Windows2016 as localized (French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese) , but it's not officially supported because it's not tested yet .

Thank you.
Best regards.
Tadashi
