It enables new delivery options, orchestration, and management capabilities for HPE’s container-based ITOM Suites. IT Service Management Automation Suite Express Edition in containers provides many benefits including:

  • Fast and easy container-based deployment.
  • All components are bundled as a suite, installed as containerized applications, and integrated automatically, providing a seamless user experience.
  • Simplified database preparation and configuration - the suite installation wizard provides an intuitive user interface for easy database configuration and connection verification.
  • Centralized user authentication and single sign-on via the ITSM Automation Suite Portal.
  • Simplified suite-level licensing, only requiring two license files

What about HA and multi tenancy? Are there available now? Or under the roadmap?

 Honored Contributor...

HA features are available via Kubernetes framework. Having said that, there are few components which are not true HA in nature, foe example the IDM docker image. A fully-fledged HA framework is pplanned for the July release .

The concept of multi-tenancy will be replaced by namespaces and it is on the roadmap. HPE plans to support multiple namespaces for ITSM Automation, which will allow customers to create Dev-ITSMA, Cert-ITSMA & Prod-ITSMA namespaces with the same infrastructure stack.
