Email notification issue in PPM 9.42

Hi All, 

We have recently upgraded our PPM from 9.31 to 9.42 and also cloning also done. Copied the Dev app of 9.42 data into new server box. We observed that the email notifications were not triggering when ever we submit the request. After checking the logs we find the some error message as follows 

'ERROR server:ppmLightServiceListenerContainer-2:(EmailNotificationAgent.java:1178):2018/05/24-11:24:45.773 EDT: ******* IO_ERROR: replyHandler() - unable to send notifications -- server is DOWN'. 

Please help us to fix the issue.

Hi Praveen,

If you directly copied filesystem as well, you may want to double check networking and firewall if SMTP Server is reachable and SMTP ports are allowed.

Also you may want to double check configuration parameters SMTP_SERVER and SMTP_PORT.
