Portlet and User Profile Region

I have created a few demand management based portlets with custom datasources  and they work great for my US users.  All of our resources reference the region of "US".  What I have found is some of my international users have used the "Update My Profile" to change thier profile region.  For the users that have done this, the portlets fail due to either date or currency fields (SQL error).

Are there any tips for dealing with this type of data and various regions in SQL queries and datasources?  There are currently about 8 different regions in use.

hi There,

Try to alter session and keep date format to American.

alter session set NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE='AMERICAN';

see if this helps.
