Is I18N in scope for the next ChatOps versions?

The ChatOps solution tackles collaboration tools. People around the world mostly collaborate in their native language. I guess it's just a normal thing to talk to the chatbot in the same way.

Re: Is I18N in scope for the next ChatOps versions?

Hi there,

Thank you for your question!

This is the thing we already considered but haven't fully addressed and plan on our roadmap. See my comments below.

  • Basically, the returned data from backend application like Service Manager could be in a localized languages (if the backend application is a localized version).
  • Of course commands will not be fully localized, but you can update tickets using localized languages, e.g. update a field with localized characters.
  • The response message from chatbot is not localized yet, which is the gap we will consider to address in a following release.

Let me know if you have additional comments. Thank you!

Best Regards,

Leo
