Forgot my password capability on Service Portal or Agent portal

When there is no SSO capability for some type of customers there should be an ability to reset a password for that operators.
When they press "Forgot my password", there should be a wizard for resetting a password like please enter a first name, last name and an e-mail for that account.
Link for reset a password would be sent to an e-mail which is set up into account.

Example:
The company has agency employees or has partners which need to access SMAX for purpose of creating new records or updating existing records.
Service Desk will spend a lot of time just for reset password while it can be done automatically.

Reset password is for all users : self service portal or agent.

This feature is required by all customers.

@Isabelle Roth - you mention "all" customers, but you mean if they don't have SSO or LDAP for all users, correct?

@Tonya SMAX Yes all customers do not use LDAP or SSO or partially use them. For instance, they may have users for external support groups that are not managed in LDAP.

We built a Operations Orchestration Flow to automate the password reset for users that would connect to BackOffice API and trigger the password reset option within Backoffice.

Multiple ways to trigger this

 

1. You can publish this flow somewhere where people can enter their SMAX Login Name, and it will trigger a password reset to that user.

2. Have a email integration where people send Password reset to that mailbox and that triggers a catalog offering which trigegrs the OO Flow.

3. MSP SMAX Portal where users log a password reset offering, which triggers the password reset flow

We are doing option 2 and 3

@Mario Morelli,
I have made a modification to Service Manager where I have created new web page when you press a link and you need to fill e-mail address after that we have used REST API integration to change password and CIT to send an e-mail to the customer.
It would be nice if that would be OOB that's why I have posted this idea.
