Need to set Approval Result value to custom field

Hi,
We have sd4.5 with sp19.
In a Change request, I specify my Approvals within the Approval tab.
After the required number of approvals are acquired, the Approval Result changes automatically to either Rejected or Approved.

Based on this Result, I want to update my Change Status.

But, when I try to create a DB Rule to do the same, in the condition list, I don't get an option to choose Approval --> Result.

I have created Approval Result(Text40) as custom field & activated.

I have written 2 db rules
1) When change is created
OR When change is modified
where Status (*) equals Registered
test (Update Data) Actual Start set to (Current date); Status set to To be approved; Approval;Approval group set to Change Advisory Board; Approval;#Approvers Required set to 1; Approval;Approval Status set to Active

2)When change is created
OR When change is modified
where Status (*) equals Registered
approval result (Update Data) Approval Result set to [Approval Result]

When I open change record, it doesn't know any value in Approval Result.
Any suggestions on how I can go about achieving this?Where I went wrong?

Thanks.

Re: Need to set Approval Result value to custom field

How Do I copy the value of the approval vote (Approval Result)to custom field.
I don't find Approval Result field in fields tab.

Re: Need to set Approval Result value to custom field

Hi Sean,

I use the trigger of when Approval Status equals Ready, as that is when the outcome of the voting is known - eg:

When Change is modified
Where Approval;Approval Status (*) equals Ready
Set Approval Result (Update Data) ChangeApprovalResult set to [Approval Result]

Hope that helps,
Lisa
