How the schedulers are automatically loading

Hi Experts,

Can anyone tell me from where the schedulers like (alert, event, linker etc.) are automatically loading into system status after SM restart.

And it is not configured in sm.ini and sm.cfg files.

Thanks & Regards,

Sandhu Mol

Re: How the schedulers are automatically loading

Look at "info" table (form -> info.startup.g)

search for field type=startup

Re: How the schedulers are automatically loading

The system.start should be set up in you sm.cfg file - it's present in the OOB one when you install HP Service Manager, and in the sm.cfg.template file as well (if you need a reference).

In our environment, we even set our system.start to use a larger memory setting and write to a specific log file within the sm.cfg

Like that (line from sm.cfg)

sm system.start -JVMOption0:Xms256m -JVMOption1:Xmx384m -JVMOption2:Xrs -log:../logs/background.log
